About Banglatown International Curry Festival
As diners spill onto the pavements, International music will be played live in the Vibe Bar courtyard and in Allen Gardens. Street entertainment, from children’s workshops to magicians will also be present to enthral visitors on the first Sunday.
The launch of the Banglatown International Curry Festival on Sunday 10th coincides with the Brick Lane Festival and more than 60,000 visitors are expected to attend to experience the global mix of food, music and culture.

Attendees can take pleasure in watching the noise, hustle and bustle of Brick Lane, known as the curry capital of Europe, as it turns into an open air food court and enjoy the aromas of Indian cuisine. Over 30 restaurants will be taking part in the Banglatown International Curry Festival and will create special menus and offers, encouraging families to dine together over the two weeks. Some eateries will also be welcoming guest chefs from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan for the celebrations.
